SNA Names District of the Year

The School Nutrition Association has named the Spring (TX) Independent School District its District of the Year in School Nutrition. The District’s Child Nutrition Department was recognized for serving an increasing number of healthy school breakfasts and lunches and for superior financial and program management during the recent SNA Annual National Conference in Washington. As part of the award, Spring ISD received $25,000 to further improve and enhance their school nutrition program operations.
