Chartwells Wins UT-Dallas Contract

Chartwells has won the foodservice management contract for the University of Texas at Dallas, according to the Mercury campus paper. It will replace Aramark following a transition period that will extend over the next year. Chartwells’ mix of retail dining concepts, including the campus’s first Subway outlet and a retained Chik-Fil-A, should be in place by fall 2009, the paper says. Chartwells will also manage UTD’s new dining hall.
