Centerplate Ends San Jose CC Relationship

Centerplate is ending its 20 year relationship with the San Jose Convention and Cultural Facilities when its contract to operate food and beverage services expires on June 30, 2009. The company had operated catering and related services at the facilities, including the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, since 1989. Centerplate cites “dramatic changes to the terms of the renewal, including a significant reduction in the future value of the contract” as the reason for the move.
