Aramark to Launch Corporate Catering Unit in NYC

Aramark plans to launch a corporate catering service called 1st and Fresh in New York City, reports Crain’s New York Business. It will operate out of a 4,000 sq.ft. facility on W. 31st St. and make deliveries across the city from a fleet of logoed trucks. The target market is businesses with no in-house foodservice that need catering services for meetings and receptions. 1st and Fresh aready operates in Philadelphia and will open a branch in Chicago after the New York launch is completed.
